India's favourite snack : MAGGI 🍜

- Hello Maggi lovers ! 🙋🏻‍♀️

      You people are never too old for Maggi noodles 💛

If you've grown up in India you've probably grown up eating Maggi for a snack! And if you've grown up eating Maggi you've obviously experimented with it. Everyone I know, has their favourite way of eating Maggi. So here, I'am sharing my favourite Maggi recipe with you people. 

                          "SPICY MASALA MAGGI"

You can never go wrong with this version of Maggi, even Maggi haters succumb to this temptation. If you have fiery hot spice levels, feel free to increase chilli powder and even add some chopped green chillies. 

                       So many flavours in one bowl 🍜

Total time : 20 minutes

Servings : 1 Portion 

Ingredients

• ▢2 Pack Maggi two noodle cakes
• ▢1 tablespoon Oil
• ▢¼ cup finely chopped Onion
• ▢¼ cup finely chopped Tomatoes
• ▢½ teaspoon Chilli Powder
• ▢¼ Teaspoon Salt
• ▢2 Packs Tastemaker
• ▢¼ cup Chopped Carrot
• ▢¼ cup Green Peas
• ▢2 Cups Water

Instructions

• Heat oil in a pan and add onions and ginger garlic paste to it. Saute for 2-3 minutes and add tomatoes, tastemaker, chilli powder and salt.
• Add tastemaker, carrot, green peas and water. Bring this to a boil, break the maggi noodles cake into 2 and add it to the pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the noodles are cooked to al dente.
• Mix well and serve immediately.

Notes

1. You can add paprika or chilli flakes in place of chilli powder.
2. You can add vegetables or proteins of your choice. Add it before adding the cooked noodles back to the pan. Ensure it is well cooked before adding the noodles.

The writer is a fan of Jaun Elia's writings...

A well known name among aficionados of Urdu literature of the era, Jaun is the most googled Urdu poet. A peerless poet , whose tragedies in his personal life , and unfulfilled love, migration from his home, shaped his poetry, which throbs with grief and pain till today. 

Jaun was famous for his ãñdáz-ē-bäyäñ.. "phrasing", by which he amused the masses, through his writing on various subjects. His poetry emanates from his scholarly intellect that resonates with readers who can find a heart'pining for unrequited love, all coming from the pen of one person. 

I have read most of mushaiaras of Jaun, where he never admitted that he is a poet. In fact jaun believed that poets were jesters. He never liked them much,so he never aspired to be one.Therefore calling Jaun Elia a poet or comparing him with others is actually belittling jaun.
